Nelson Ridge Residence

Suncadia, Washington

This residence is designed around the 180 degree views from the site of the Cascade mountains, Snoqualmie Pass and Cle Elum Lake. Set into the hill to reduce the mass of the home, a modest two car garage and recessed entry greats guests and hints at the views beyond. The entrance is used as a gasket to separate the sleeping wing from the entertaining wing with expansive views beyond a custom wood and steel stair. The great room utilizes a wood window wall system with integrated structural elements to celebrate the view during each season. Exterior entertaining spaces are set to the north side blocking wind which can be intense and allowing for unobstructed enjoyment of all the site has to offer. Currently in Design
